My poor dog!

So my dog Abby has really bad allergies right now. We have taken her to the vet a number of times and yet she continues to itch. Her skin around her neck and tail are bright pink/red. She scratches all the time, and I have to yell at her often. Last night I had to give her a bath. I had to first make sure the water was luke warm. Then, I had to get actual oatmeal to put in it to help it soothe her skin. She didnt really want to go in expecially when I took her collar off. She went crazy. I had to catch her and pick her up to get her in the tub. She looked at me with those sad brown eyes, but she sat still even when I told her to stay. I had to use some special oatmeal anti itch shampoo for her too. After she got all rinsed out, I made her stay in the tub until I got a towel. I started drying her off and she started getting really hyper. I think it was because of the whole experience. I let her loose after, and she started chasing Roxie. I had to give Abby her allergy pill, and a dingo. She finally started to relax and not itch. I still felt bad for her because her skin felt so hot.
Abby has had bad allergies even when she was a puppy. She contracted a staph infection because of it. The vet has tried shots, and other pills, and Benedryl. Nothing seems to work for long. She becomes immune to every medication he gives to her. We think we might have to shave her, and have him try to treat all the red skin. We are also afraid that she's going to end up dying from infections on her skin. That is if the vet can't help her.
On a happier note, it's almost October! I want to dress our dogs up in little Halloween costumes. The last time I tried to put antlers on Abby she tore them up. But the little witches hat I put on her before stayed on her head. Dogs can be so adorable dressed up like little humans. I should dress Roxie up as a little pumpkin because of her excess of weight. Abby doesnt like clothes so I really dont know what I should do with her. Speaking of clothes, I made my dog Roxie clothes before. She liked them too.
I feel like I keep trying to add more stuff on here. Anyways. My dogs seem to have other health problems. Abby with the allergies, and Roxie with the arthritis. I dont like seeing Roxie limping around on three legs. She has been for the past couple days, probably because of the weather change. During the summer before it got really hot, she would limp everywhere. Then Roxie expects us to put her on the couch, which is very difficult.
I feel bad for my dogs right now. I hope they get better.
