Wild dogs

My dogs really do not like things that move. If they do, they chase it, catch it and have fun all the while. Abby doesnt mind when we plug the vacuum cleaner into the wall, but when it turns on and that room noise is heard, she goes crazy. She tries to bite the lights on it, and she has to back away from it when it comes too close. My mom thinks that one of these days, she will get a heart attack. I think it is funny when Abby's ears start floppin all over the place, and her eyes all wild with attackingness, and she attacks the vacuum full force. Abby's also really funny when she becomes a huntress. She stalks her prey, (which is normally a fly when we are outside) and she tries to swat at it like a cat. Normally she ends up killing it and eating it. It's really gross. Abby has acted like a cat for some time now. She climbs on the back of our furniture, and she lays down just like a cat does. She doesn't like to lick people either, except occasionally on the hands. She really doesnt act like a dog at all. Roxie on the other hand, is very loving, tries to give kisses, and often loves to be around us at all times. Abby is also really scared of the washer. She thinks it is going to attack her or something. She tries to attack first by going into the bathroom to bark at the water drain, (which also carries the washer water). Apparently it can't attack back, so she thinks that she won the fight. She also doesnt like animals too well. There was once a bat in our house, and we think it came in the night before, (but of course, we had no idea at that time!) The bat had to have been hiding somewhere in the house, and finally came out really late at night. Abby started cowering and running away. She didnt even bark at it because she was too scared. I had to end up putting her in the back door of our house so we could kill it. She is also scared of mice. The mouse almost came up to her, and just like the bat, she ran away. She thinks she is so big and bad, but when she is actually nose to nose with something, she freaks out, and runs away. Abby also doesnt like anyone else touching her bones. She will go in all the rooms to find a hiding place for it. She thinks our white floor is a good option for her brown bone to hide. Sometimes she even stands guard for it. Another quirk of Abby, is that when you throw a treat to her she doesnt understand what you are doing. Most dogs try to catch it in their mouths, while Abby either ducks out of its path, or she lets it hit her in the head. Anyways, they are wierd.

  1. Interesting. My dog attacks the vaccuum too, but she isn't very bright, so she also tries to attack the lawn mower.
